Young executives (35 and under) of foreign and major Greek companies, who are considered high potential executives by their superiors are eligible to become members of the YOUNG TALENTS CIRCLE.

The meetings are monthly breakfast meetings from 8:30 to 10:30. The invited guest at each meeting is a rising personality, who is already playing an important role in Greece.

⌟ Aims of the CIRCLE

The YOUNG TALENTS CIRCLE is a forum for young executives (under 35) of foreign multinationals operating in Greece and large Greek companies to exchange opinions and information with a view to:

  • Network with peers from other companies.
  • Exchange views and experience with other young prominent people in different areas of the country’s economic, social, and academic life.
  • Further develop their skills.

⌟ Activities

The members of the YOUNG TALENTS CIRCLE meet once a month (except in August) at a breakfast starting at 08:30 and ending at 10:30.

Three types of breakfast meetings are organized to serve the goals of the CIRCLE:

  • Breakfasts where CIRCLE members welcome a public figure.
  • Thematic breakfasts, with an expert invited.
  • Breakfasts exclusively between members on a matter of common interest.

Discussions are conducted under Chatham House Rules.

The members of the CIRCLE are committed to complying with the rules of business ethics and competition law.

Participation in the CIRCLE is strictly personal and no representation of a member by another person is permitted.

Special care is taken in choosing the members of the CIRCLE, so that no industry is over-represented.

A dedicated website is available to CIRCLE members to facilitate direct contacts, particularly through the Who’s Who of members.

⌟ CIRCLE operation

The YOUNG TALENTS CIRCLE is organized by Public Affairs & Networks, which:

  • Draws up and submits a program of activities.
  • Invites guests and organizes breakfasts.
  • Works with members to organize discussions in the context of monthly breakfasts.
  • Proposes new members.
  • Provides secretarial support.

⌟ Membership

YOUNG TALENTS CIRCLE members must be under 35, working in a company in Greece and be qualified by a superior in that company as a high potential executive.

All nationalities, as well as all sectors, are admitted to the CIRCLE.

Admission to the CIRCLE is based on the principle of each new member being proposed by two already active members to ensure the coherence of the CIRCLE and to maintain the privacy of the group. In this way, members’ freedom of expression is secured, and over-representation of any industry is avoided.

The membership is strictly personal. If a member leaves, this does not automatically mean that a new member will be admitted, and any new member will have to be proposed by two existing members.

Participation in the CIRCLE is strictly personal and no representation of a member by another person is permitted.

⌟ CIRCLE Rules

The CIRCLE belongs to its members, and success and fulfillment of its purposes depend on the personal involvement, commitment and involvement of its members.

For this reason, the members of the CIRCLE undertake to:

  • Participate actively in CIRCLE meetings. A loose rule sets minimum participation in CIRCLE meetings at 50-60%.
